• To deliver professional procurement & contract services in accordance with standards procedures laid down by the Companies Management team with respect to Procurement, contract, delivery of all supplies, materials, products, services and equipment.
 
• The job is to procure material and create contracts for different Products, services of a mid-sized Department that serves all Departments within the company.  The job is carried out in the office environment to cover all Procurement and contract activities.

Job Description
  • Interfaces with Procurement lead to plan and prioritize purchasing activities and contracts for different services. 
  • Reviews PRs for Requirements, Pos for purchased items, follow up with logistics for delivery update, follow up with finance for payment update .so there by having full coverage until the pr/po is closed. 
  • Transmits and prioritizes approved purchase orders and supporting documents to supplier.  
  • Tracks order acknowledgement, prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports, and provides visibility of potential interruptions to internal customers that is to End user departments or the purchase requestors.  
  • Tracks orders and confirms system lead times, delivery updates to Purchase requestors.  
  • Reviews, updates, and monitors purchase orders until they are closed. 
  • Ensures orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts. 
  • Follow up with finance and logistics staff in resolving logistics reception and invoice discrepancies. 
  • Identifies opportunities and implements actions to achieve efficiencies. 
  • Contributes to consolidation, reduction, and rationalization of the local supplier base.
  • Negotiates with suppliers to draw up procurement contracts, Negotiates, administers,extends, terminates, and renegotiates contracts.
  • Formulates and coordinates procurement proposals.
  • Directs and coordinates activities with suppliers to get the bid proposals. 
  • Prepare contract, Derive, Evaluate, monitors contract and contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.  
  • Approves or rejects requests for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules.  
  • Arbitrates claims or complaints occurring in performance of contracts.
  • Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine  reasonableness of prices.
  •  Negotiate collective bargaining agreements. 
  • Serve to ensure fulfillment of obligations by contractors as per business needs.
  • Benchmarks with industry standards and ensures a world class procurement and  contract pattern is always followed and maintained.
  • Manages procurement and contract services for materials, services. Maintain accurate  information flows and ensure adherence to controls and procedures. 
  • Interfaces with other End user Area leaders to plan and prioritize purchasing  activities.
